Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, TN
Naturally my first order of business was to wake and bake in the hot tub on Saturday morning. Living my best smoky mountain life, literally.
I don’t often exercise my right to veto someone’s request that I don’t post an image, but you’re also not allowed to ask me to take your photo doing the splits in a BEAR’S MOUTH and expect me not to show everyone. Sorry, Breezy.
Some of the more outrageous Trump/Confederate flag merch at one of the souvenir shops on the main drag. Ironically most of the souvenir shops were clearly owned/operated by immigrants so thinking about racists having to pay brown people for their shitty racist merch gave me a chuckle.
Bear mouth rules apply to shark mouths as well.

Barbarella was commemorated on an airbrushed t-shirt to round out the trip. Yes we waited an extra 5 hours for these shirts.

We drove through one of the most insane thunderstorms I’ve ever seen on our way home through southern Kentucky. I don’t think I’ve ever seen lightning so BIG or so CLOSE in my life— it really felt like it was going to hit us or at least ignite the forest, but between the rain and the humidity, the mountains just took on the wild and smokey look they’re known for. It was beautiful.
I just thought this water tower was the cutest thing ever.
